A day to review the previous techniques. This will make sure nobody falls behind, and also offers students a chance for some open tying and exploration.

The course takes place every Saturday from 4-6pm, for 5 weeks from Jan 10 to Feb 7, at Live Beyond Limit, 353 W Drake Rd STE 140, Fort Collins, CO 80526

While it’s recommended that you bring your own rope, there will be rope available for students to use. There will also be rope available for purchase.

Students who enroll in the full course will receive a full length of premium jute shibari rope in either red or natural tan color. This is the same rope sold in our online store.

Singles are welcome to attend the course, with limited availability. There will be mannequins and demo bottoms available for singles to work with.

You may ask to work with a demo bottom in class. Tying with a demo bottom is a privilege earned by showing respect. Our demo bottoms are empowered to say no to tying with anyone who makes them uncomfortable.

You may sign up for individual weeks if you can’t attend the full course. Alternatively, the midway review in week 3 offers opportunity for reviewing/previewing other weeks, for those who will inevitably end up missing a week.

Meet the instructors
Redd - Instructor
Redd is a rigger with years of experience. He’s performed hundreds of suspensions with dozens of models. His teaching style focuses on mastering the fundamentals, and making sure students learn the why behind the what.
Wrenn - Instructor
Wrenn is a switch who ties, gets tied, and self suspends. Playing on both sides of the slash, she brings valuable insight for both topping and bottoming.
Damien & Binx - Assistant Instructors
Damien and Binx are an apprentice rigger/bottom couple studying under Redd. Together they enjoy combining rope and lighting to create dramatic and sensual photos.
